Group chat rooms and calls for a PeerMesh site, built on Matrix.

Chat adds real-time messaging to a PeerMesh site using the Matrix chat protocol. When a group is created, a chat room appears for its members. It includes a chat app in the browser and support for voice and video calls.

What it does

  • Runs a Matrix chat server for the site
  • Creates a chat room for each group and invites its members
  • Gives each account a matching chat account
  • Offers a browser chat app with voice and video calls

The source code is not public yet.
